The other day, I took the commuter train to go to Greenbelt Malls to meet some friends. Unlike the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) broadcasts commercials, public service announcements, and other things, so commuters will not get bored (here, peace and quiet = boring). I happened to listen to a shocking tidbit that proudly said, “Do you know that the Philippines is in the Bible?” Then it quoted Isaiah 24:15:
Therefore in the east give glory to the Lord; in the coastlands (islands, NIV) of the sea, give glory to the name of the Lord, the God of Israel.
